Objects of Conspiracy
- Design der Verschwörung

In recent months and years, we have witnessed a steady development of public and cohesive protest movements, which in turn seem to be indicative of a global rise of a comparatively new kind of activism, where political protest often takes the form of impulsive, non-institutional mass action. This type of activism is often strengthened by new technologies, networked communication, social media and the like. There also seems to be a hybridization of physical and virtual, conceptual and practiced conspiracy myths, with the respective components reinforcing each other.

The aim of this book published by Prof. Tom Bieling is to show how things change the world and our thinking by undermining supposed authorities and bringing new ones into position. It collects and analyzes "objects" that reveal concrete and diffuse fears, assertions, demands and enemy constructions. Symbols are deciphered and tools, methods and forms of expression are examined in order to develop a deeper understanding of the strategies and processes of radicalization. As a key contributor to this project, I had the oportunity of collaborating on the research and design of the cover, crafting a visual identity that resonates with the essence of the book. My part in the research, "Conspiracy-shaping humour" analyzes the relationship between satire and conspiracy theories.
