Wayuu textil accessories with exotic patterns and striking color constellations, such as bags, blankets and armbands are created by the Wayuu, an indigenous tribe in North of Colombia. The textiles are well known for its high quality tailoring technique, which are made entirely by hand. I researched a way to reproduce the color constellation of those accessories with creative coding in the programming language Processing. The program is not intended to make a comparison between the original handicrafts and the patterns created by the program, nor to replace the tradition of the Wayuu people.
